**Direct Hire/Permanent Opportunity**

RemX has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. HR Business Partner in Hollywood/Los Angeles, CA! This is a Permanent position with a large healthcare organization!

 

Job Responsibilities:

This position will be specializing in Labor Relations within the organization. fostering strong, productive, and harmonious labor relations across all levels of our workforce.

 

Position Summary: As a Senior HR Business Partner specializing in Labor Relations within our organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong, productive, and harmonious labor relations across all levels of our workforce. Your expertise in labor laws, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, and employee engagement will ensure that our labor relations strategies support our organizational goals while maintaining a positive work environment. You will act as a bridge between management and employees, advocating for equitable solutions that respect the rights and interests of all parties.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate labor relations strategies that align with the company's goals, culture, and values.
  • Lead negotiations with unions, including drafting proposals, bargaining in good faith, and finalizing collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to management on labor relations, including interpretation of union contracts, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into labor disputes, grievances, and other issues, ensuring that all parties are heard and that resolutions are fair and consistent with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on labor relations topics, such as effective communication, negotiation skills, and understanding labor laws.
  • Stay informed of developments in labor legislation and trends in labor relations, advising the organization on potential impacts and proactive strategies.
  • Foster a positive labor relations climate by encouraging open communication, mutual respect, and collaborative problem-solving between employees, unions, and management.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in acute healthcare as an HRBP Labor Relations
  • Proven experience in labor relations and employee advocacy in a healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations and healthcare compliance
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees, management and labor unions
  • Proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
