Job Description
Ophthalmic Technician/Ophthalmic Assistant for a small and busy Ophthalmic practice in Woodland, CA
- COA/COT
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Professional and courteous in demeanor with patients and co-workers and other facilities.
- Electronic Medical Records environment. Must be able to scribe.
- Preform Refractions, Pre-Test Visual Fields, Keratometry, Ascan/IOL Master, Topography, Fundus Photos, OCT, etc.
- Sterilizes/maintains all equipment & rooms using proper sterile techniques.
- Scribe for physician during examination.
- Assists physician with surgeries and procedures.
- Accuracy of all written, oral & keyed documentation.
- Adaptable to consistent change in workflow and doctor schedule.
- Work with Optometrists on surgery days.
- Will float as a Medical receptionist or help out in optical shop on down time.
- Approximately 35 + hours per week.
Salary depends on qualifications/certifications.
