Avionics Technician

Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with avionics systems repair and installations in corporate aircraft settings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform avionics systems repair and installations.
• Conduct troubleshooting of corporate aircraft avionics systems.
• Configure systems and utilize test equipment for checks.
• Install wire bundles and wiring harnesses.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers, requiring strong communication skills.
• Upload navigation databases, charts, and EGPWS systems.
• Complete any other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in avionics systems.
• Proficiency in reading wiring schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of sheet metal work is an advantage.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on weekend standby as required.
• Ability to procure and maintain necessary tools.
• Experience with wiring harness layout and fabrication.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A&P Certificate is a plus.
• Training in electrical installation and troubleshooting is beneficial.
