Field Services Technician 13323

Position Summary:

The Field Service Technician will perform in-plan and/or offsite routing services, including installation/set-up, training, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of commercial and military environmental control units (ECUs). The Field Service Technician will serve as an HVAC Technician specializing in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems ranging from 2-ton to 60-ton environment control units.

Primary Duties:

· Establishes rapport with internal and external customers

· Maintain schedule and ensure 100% availability for all products

· Work with the Engineering Support Manager to establish a rapport with engineering and product line managers

· Ensure there are proper tools and materials available prior to executing any assignment

· Actively participate and contribute to product training for assigned Field Service Technicians during product training for new products

· Support Quality with validation of warranty status of new claims

· Must demonstrate a working knowledge of MS Office and OEM diagnostic test software to resolve equipment issues/failures effectively

· Reports directly to the Field Service Manager daily on the status of all assigned jobs and communicates concerns regarding open or closed jobs

· Ensure required trade certifications are obtained and maintained

Qualifications:

· 5-10 years of pertinent and progressive experience in field service or industrial maintenance-related support activities

· 5 years experience removing/installing HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance

· Must be able to pass a background check for access to US and Foreign military bases

· Must have effective communication skills with internal and external customers

· Maintain assigned tools and equipment and adherence to local and national codes and regulations

· Must be US Citizen and posses or capable of getting US Passport

· Must be able to travel within Continental United States and Overseas
