Senior UI Engineer

AccuLynx is actively seeking smart and passionate UI Software Engineers to join our growing Engineering team! We are headquartered out of Beloit, WI and would love to have you join us for major planning sessions and meetings, but this role has the option to be remote. UI Engineers at AccuLynx will play a key role in the design and development of our world-class construction management software and mobile web applications. We do not hire based on buzzwords or popular acronyms. We expect you to be well-versed in UI and be eager to adapt to new techniques in the future. What You Will Do:

• Craft beautiful, highly-functional and intuitive web UIs with Vue and Typescript
• Write UI components that encapsulate single responsibilities with expressive, strongly typed code that enhance progressively and fail gracefully
• Work with engineers developing backend systems, data models, and APIs
• Participate in code reviews with other engineers on your team
• Serve as leader in brainstorming and sketching sessions, as well as introduce and improve UI process with product and design
• Work with UI engineers on other teams to implement common components
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience with modern Javascript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, etc.)
• Experience with data stores such as Vuex and Pina
• Strong knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Product accessibility including usability experience and knowledge
• Belief that performance is a feature

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Strong experience with Vue 3 and 2.7 and the Composition API
• Extensive experience using Typescript
• Configuring build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, and Vite
• Passed data between frontend frameworks such as Angular and Vue
• Maintained and versioned custom NPM packages across multiple frontends
• Experience with web to PDF page layout and printing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other engineering field
• Contributions to OSS projects or Stackoverflow
