Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Advisor at Honda San Marcos is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our valued clients. This individual will act as a liaison between the customer and the service technicians, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate will have a strong sales background and possess in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried sales position in the automotive industry. The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate service estimates to customers
- Inform customers about recommended services and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Up-sell additional services or products as needed to meet sales objectives
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any necessary updates throughout the service process
- Handle customer complaints and concerns, escalating to management as needed
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Continuously develop knowledge of new products and services to effectively communicate with customers
- Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals set by the dealership

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Automotive Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales position, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
