Allegiance is currently seeking experienced caregivers to work with our clients in the following areas: ENGLEWOOD

Day shift - 8:00A-1:00P (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)

Evenings - 8:00P-10:00P (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday)

Experience is REQUIRED as this is an IHSS client. We are seeking skilled, enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team at Allegiance Home Care. As our clients are complex, they rarely cancel shifts so our hours are reliable! This client has a caregiver who has taken a leave of absence so the temporary schedule will become permanent if the employee chooses not to return.

• Competitive pay ($19.00/hr)
• $1.50/hr differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts!
• Reimbursement for drive time if driving between different clients

Job Requirements:

• Must have a reliable vehicle as many of our clients require errands/shopping
• Must be able to provide us with a fixed schedule of availability and work the hours committed to upon time of hire.
• 1 year of caregiving experience and/or a CNA is PREFERRED.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S., be able to pass mandatory state and federal background checks and have a negative drug test.
• Good attendance, punctuality, teamwork, and have a patient and positive attitude!

Job Description:

Provides Health Maintenance Activities and support for activities of daily living which include homemaking and personal care services for the client in his/her home as identified. Tasks vary by client but may include:

• Positioning, transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
• Bowel/Bladder care including perineal care.
• Assistance with daily hygiene activities
• Medication reminder.
• Assist with nourishment and fluid needs including preparing meals and offering fluids.
• Provide protective oversight as needed.
• Observe and report any changes from normal to the license professional.
• Observe and maintain the home environment.
• Assist with household chores including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Assist in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside the home
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and other assignments included in the service plan.
