Test Proctor and Administrator (TAP)

Cardinal Education is seeking an in-person Test Proctor and Administrator (TAP) to support our team in Burlingame, CA! We are an extremely dynamic and collaborative company focused on providing top-tier expertise in admissions and tutoring to families.

TAPs administer and proctor our standardized exams to students in grades 4 through 12 in our Woodside and Burlingame, CA offices. Tests are offered on Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating schedule. This position is flexible to match your schedule; you can pick up a morning or afternoon proctor at either office location to fit your plans. Take on as much or as little proctoring as you’d like to complement your existing work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare testing area and distribute appropriate tests
• Serve as the face of Cardinal Education as you meet families and students 
• Meticulously time students for up to five exam types per proctor.
• Light cleaning of test room before and after each proctoring, including spraying down tables, vacuuming, and emptying trash cans

REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility

• Car or personal vehicle (excluding bicycles) and a willingness to travel to both of our offices
• Current driver’s license, insurance, and active car registration
• Ability to lead at least one proctor per month
• Flexibility to take on extra weekend proctoring on short notice is a plus but not required

Experience

• No previous proctoring work experience is required. We will provide in-depth training and the opportunity to shadow proctors before proctoring solo. However, previous standardized testing experience is a plus.
• Experience working with students in middle and high school is a plus
