North West Rubber is looking for Quality Engineer for USA, Houston . Quality Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the organization's compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality policies, procedures, and systems to promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities Authorities
•Drives Continuous Process Improvement activities throughout the organization using statistical techniques and lean methodology.
•Determine and implement process controls to systematically achieve and sustain product quality
• Implement and maintain facility practices and drive execution that ensures compliance with all HSE requirements
• Develop and implement procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with QHSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and awareness programs to employees on quality policies, procedures, and practices.
• Assist with accidents, incidents, and near misses investigations as needed to determine root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Approving procedures for the company manually & IT ERP.
• Recommending to Top Management the resources budgets (assets including people) for the Department.
• Training personnel in process areas including internal auditors (may include HSE).
• Disposition on non-conformities along with Quality Team.
• Ensure Product meets internal and customer requirements.
•Review and supervise Quality Control inspections and tests for trend analysis.
• Format & approve the effectiveness of the actions taken against the non-conformities.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and external auditors for QHSE compliance audits and certifications.
• Monitoring the performance of internal auditors.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization
Qualifications
•Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), environmental management systems (ISO 14001), and occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001)
•Experience in QA/QC in a manufacturing/assembly environment
•Safety certifications a plus.
•Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
•Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of QHSE
