SENIOR ITS SPECIALIST

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior ITS Specialist position supports the TampaBay SunGuide Operations Center, FDOT TSMO/ITS Programs, Road Ranger Programs, TampaBay SunGuide Center Facilities and Building Management, and various FDOT D7 TSMO Project Managers and Leadership as needed.

The Senior ITS Specialist is responsible for administrative tasks including management and maintenance of all FDOT D7 TSMO files and records. This position monitors and manages all FDOT D7 TBSG vendor contracts and day to day activities of the TBSG Operations Center.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Onboarding and processing SLERS background checks, badges, and FDLE administrative clearance certifications for all FDOT contractors, FHP Communications Center Dispatchers and Operations contractors
• Contract budget monitoring
• Contract invoice processing and auditing
• Assist with overall management of the D7 Road Ranger Program
• Performance deficiency auditing for multiple contracts
• Monthly certification and licensure auditing and renewals
• Attendance and participation in multiple ITS/ TIM meetings and distribution of meeting minutes
• Meetings, conference room, and teleconference coordination for FDOT D7 TampaBay SunGuide Center and various TSMO programs
• Analysis and creation of various reports
• Data entry into multiple software systems for budgeting and forecast analysis.
• Processing and tracking of all ITSFM users for FDOT D7
• Tasks and duties as assigned by FDOT D7 Leadership
• Adherence to all Lucent Group, Inc. policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma
• State of Florida Notary public
• Knowledge of and experience in the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Traffic Incident Management industries
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in project administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products tools
• Experience in contract and programs management
• Ability and willingness to work alternate schedules as needed
• Ability to research and interpret data and information
• Experience in recordkeeping and files management
• Skilled in analysis and problem-solving
• Ability to take direction from multiple leaders
• Must have the ability to pass a State Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS) background check as well as a drug screening
