Job Description
A prominent Agritech organization is seeking an adept and dynamic professional to fill the position of Director of Human Resources.
This role is critical in shaping and driving the people strategy as the company continues to expand and innovate in the sustainable agriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Design and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. Initiate programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure a workplace that is diverse and inclusive.
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to attract top-tier talent. Implement innovative and effective sourcing strategies. Create a positive candidate experience that reflects the company's values. Employee Development: Develop and implement professional development programs. Identify and nurture high-potential employees. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and growth. Performance Management: Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and regular performance reviews. Implement strategies to recognize and reward high performers.
Culture and Employee Well-being: Promote and cultivate the company's unique culture. Implement initiatives to support employee well-being and work-life balance.
Team Building: Utilize your experience to build and lead the HR team from scratch. Develop a high-performing HR team capable of supporting the company's growth.
The position can be 50% remote with 50% travel required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in building HR teams from the ground up.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
Proven experience in working for technology start-ups is a must.
Experience in the agriculture sector is a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
