Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: As the Data Analyst at Pallet, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our villages and internal processes. You will continue building and updating tools and preexisting projects including the Sales Targeting ArcGIS Dashboard, the sales data toolkit, marketing data one-pagers, and our Zillow-based Site Identification Tool.

Your skills and expertise will evolve over time but will begin with the following responsibilities:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

Responsibilities:

• Refresh and update the Sales Data Toolkit on a continuous basis.
• Learn NetSuite basics and seek ongoing learning to deepen that knowledge.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
• Report results and findings to relevant members of the business or management team.
• Define new data collection and analysis processes.
• Centralize and organize Pallet’s main village database in CRM, SharePoint and ArcGIS Online.
• Integrate the sales targeting tool with our leads database in the CRM.
• Assist the sales team with Site Identification requests.
• Complete ad hoc data requests
• Work with HR to analyze our workforce model and create output demonstrating its efficacy.
• Assist Path Forward with its consulting data needs on an ongoing basis.

Examples of data requests include:

o Comprehensive review of available homelessness data

o Providing data insights for reporting and planning

o Finalize data components of completed 5-Year Strategic Functional Zero Plan

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:

• Expert fluency conducting databased management and queries with SQL.
• Excellent coding and data analysis ability with R, Stata, or a similar statistical computing language.
• Ability to develop and maintain databases and data systems.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in data sets.
• Excellent mapping and ArcGIS suite skills.
• Writing, research, and data acquisition abilities.
• Proficient in manipulating large datasets in MS Excel.
• Ability to create dashboards and reports that communicate insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution with an emphasis in math, data, or statistics preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis roles.

Bonus Points

• 1+ years of experience working with ArcGIS.
• Netsuite ERP experience
• Experience having or working with people with lived experience, homelessness, incarceration, or substance use disorder.

Physical Requirements:

• You will be required to sit for extended periods of time.
• You will use the keyboard and speak on the phone routinely.

Physical Work Conditions

• May have to wear safety attire or protective steel toed shoes and safety glasses when on sites or in the warehouse.
• Usually work indoors.
• May share workspace with others.

Employees will start to receive up to 15 days per year (4.615 hours per pay period) and up to nine paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

PAY RANGE

Our target HIRING range for this role is $27.97 - $34.97 per hour. The entire pay range for this position is $27.97 - $41.96 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location
