Job description

We are seeking a motivated 1099 Contractor Junior ColdFusion Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of software applications while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative environment. The Coldfusion Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Coldfusion technology. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and experience with Coldfusion, SQL, and JavaScript

Required Life Cycle Support Skills:

· Require staff with interim Secret Clearance Requirement and DoD CaC

· Provide Intranet site maintenance

· Maintain SAF FM CMS System with 844th (Gov SaaS IT organization managing backend)

· Troubleshoot and debug software applications

· Troubleshoot any site problems that arise

· Post newsletters, job postings, and announcements

· Collaborate to design and implement software solutions

· Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress

· Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables

· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Coldfusion development, and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and workflows.

· Develop and maintain software documentation

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in ColdFusion programming language

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ColdFusion development

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• ColdFusion certification (optional)

Required Status: Require staff with interim Secret Clearance Requirement and DoD CaC.
