Cell Culture Intern

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the cultivation and maintenance of monoclonal antibody-producing cell lines, contributing to the development and production of therapeutic antibodies in our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate and maintain mammalian cell lines for monoclonal antibody production.
2. Perform aseptic cell culture techniques such as passaging, seeding, and harvesting cells.
3. Conduct routine cell culture assays to monitor cell viability, growth, and productivity.
4. Assist in the scale-up of cell culture processes from small-scale to large-scale production.
5. Prepare and sterilize laboratory equipment and materials for cell culture experiments.
6. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot cell culture issues and implement process improvements.
7. Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biology or a related field.
2. Familiarity with aseptic technique and cell culture practices.
3. Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable.
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
7. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements.
8. Automation/robotics experience a plus.
