Pool and Spa Service Technician

Summary: Responsible for completely and accurately testing and repairing installed equipment; provides a thorough explanation of equipment and its capabilities to the customer; accurately completes all paperwork; lays out equipment installation process utilizing thorough knowledge of equipment and its capabilities by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs electrical/circuit board equipment using basic hand tools and meters at customer’s residence.*
2. Troubleshoots, locates and repairs plumbing leaks using basic hand tools and pvc glue and silicone at customer’s residence.*
3. Drives company vehicle to local and long distance jobsites.*

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and basic understanding of Word, Excel, and Email.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Communicates to Manager and/or tech support systems situations in the field to accurately test and troubleshoot systems

• Flexible and able to work occasional overtime

This position will pay anywhere from $15.00 per hour to $20.00 per D.O.E.
