Sales Associate

Representing the Douglas A. Brewer (Agent) State Farm Agency in the (primarily) sales and service of all State Farm and its affiliated Companies’ products and services. Additional duties include assisting the agent in general office tasks for which you are authorized to perform, and which are necessary for the function of the office.

Primary duties include focusing on generating new customers for the agency.

• You will be responsible for managing the vendor (non-State Farm generated) leads with Agent’s direction.
• This includes but limited to, identifying the type and volume of leads which the office can reasonably and effectively handle, returning all invalid leads for credit and monitoring and reported to Agent lead statistics (number leads contacted, leads converted to customers, x dates, etc.).
• You will also focus on ECRM (a State Farm system) generated in-book marketing programs which includes, with Agent and other team member input, creating list of existing customers for multi-lining, cross-selling and creating Simple Conversations for IFRs and other opportunities to engage our customers for their benefit.
• Additional duties include backing up Agent and other service team members when they are not available. These duties include but are not limited to, answering the phones, greet walk-in customers, customer service requests and Agent generated customer service requests for customer assistance.

Other duties include:

• Setting Simple Conversations for IFR and life insurance appointments
• Asking for referrals at every opportunity as well as Google and Yelp reviews
• Assisting Agent with social media postings and management
• Proactively looking for ways to improve efficiency, profitable growth and customer retention within the Agency.
• Proactively taking State Farm provided courses and seminars that will improve or enhance your employment.
