Job Description:

Lead Staffing is currently hiring Pipefitters for a project in Okeechobee, Florida to start as soon as possible. As a pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities:

You will be installing carbon steel pipe, risers for Chiller, etc.
Must have experience working on steel/welded pipe and working with risers.
Copper experience is a plus as well.
Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine pipe layout and design.
Measure, cut, and thread pipes to the required specifications.
Assemble and install piping systems using various tools and techniques.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and other issues.
Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed.

Requirements:

Osha 10 Certification
Proven experience as a pipefitter, Journeyman level 8 plus years.
Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for pipefitting.
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Able to maintain a safe work environment.
Great attitude, communication skills and reliable attendance & transportation.
Must have all tools of the trade (PPE).
Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test & background check.
