To drive continued success in this exciting Medical Device field, we are seeking a Sr. Lab Scientist to join our winning team.

Job Summary:

The incumbent will join a team of scientists for development of immunoassays used for In Vito Diagnostics.

Essential Functions:

The incumbent will join a team of scientists for development of immunoassays used for In Vito Diagnostics.

  • Following all necessary laboratory safety and operation protocols.
  • Executing experiments in protein analysis, conjugation, separation and quantitation.
  • Optimizing assay reagent formulations and assay conditions.
  • Running immunoassays on automated analyzers.
  • Performing statistical data analysis for test results.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues when they occur.

Position Specifications:

  1. Knowledge/Educational Requirements

  • Ph.D., or MS, with relevant combined experience in either Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or other related field with hands on laboratory experience.
  • Previous experience in assay development or clinical laboratory is preferred.
  • Post-doc training in clinical chemistry and clinical laboratory operation is a plus.
  • experience with optimizing immunoassay formulation highly recommended
  • Having research publications will be considered as a plus.

2. Skills and Abilities

  • The successful candidate will have good analytical skills and outstanding attention to details.
  • Proficiency in laboratory Equipment setup, operation and maintenances.
  • Capability of performing data analysis with statistical tools.
  • Ability to perform literature searching, summarizing outcomes and possible implementation.
  • Self-driving and independent work abilities are required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Occasional lifting of reagents weighing 2lb.
