What your daily responsibilities look like:

  • Plan and organize service requests to meet target dates and production goals
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training
  • Experience delivering forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift training
  • Conduct safety compliance assessments and audits
  • Expertise in target safety requirements including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, PPE, Machine Guarding
  • Analyze data and prepare technical reports and give recommendations
  • Provide support for injury/illness prevention, safety, industrial hygiene, regulatory compliance, and loss control programs
  • Work independently to provide on-site health and safety support
  • Working in a collaborative team environment with flexibility to adapt to client needs
  • Ability to oversee safety consultants and project manage
  • Develop client relationships and expand CMI services
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
  • Willing to travel locally to clients locally (within a 100-mile radius)
  • Overnight travel up to 40%
  • Communicate with everyone and anyone
  • Understand your clients' needs and build relationships

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • 5-10 years of experience providing safety and health services
  • B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
  • Professional Certification (CSP, ASP, GSP)
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Consulting experience a plus
