Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Operations team to learn how scheduling, resource planning, and manufacturing is managed within an ERP system.
- Learn how an ASME code vessel facility designs, engineers, and manufactures pressure vessels for the water industry.
- Support Quality group in capturing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other Quality driven tasks.
- Support Inventory Management with cycle counting and other material control tasks.
- Learn fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing and the types of tools utilized in a manufacturing environment.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- High level of computer acumen including Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, TEAMS)
- Ability to work with physical tools and machinery, mechanically inclined
Education and Experience:
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering student preferred.
- Business student with a focus on manufacturing or supply chain management
