Women's Health Associates of NWA is seeking a full-time medical assistant for our busy Bentonville location. Our office is growing and looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our team. We believe in treating everyone with compassion, honesty, and respect as well as delivering exceptional patient care. The medical assistant's responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Greet and prepare patients for physician while maintaining a positive and caring attitude
Obtain and record patient information, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, current medications, medical history, chief complaint, etc.
Document patient plan(s) of care, test, and exam results in electronic medical record (EMR) as directed by physician
Draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; stock patient exam rooms while maintaining cleanliness and organization, and dispose of contaminated items per protocol
Provide ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, and/or topical administration
Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing
Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by the Administrator
REQUIREMENT: Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting
