An established dermatology practice in greater Akron, OH is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The practice specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Providers with 1+ years of experience will be considered. No new graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time hours
- 3, 4 or 5 days per week available, clinic based
- Provide medical dermatology services
- Common conditions treated include acne, atypical moles, eczema, hair/scalp conditions, nail conditions, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer, skin infections, etc.
- Perform cosmetic services if interested
- Dermal fillers, Botox, microneedling, etc.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio State License
- 1+ years of experience as a PA/NP
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, treatments, and terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (EMR)
