Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Structural Engineering Firm in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analyses and inspections of residential, commercial, industrial, and historical buildings.
  
• Prepare detailed construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications using relevant design software (experience with REVIT is highly desired)
  
• Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
  
• Provide clear and concise recommendations for repairs and renovations.
  
• Participate in site visits and construction reviews to verify code compliance and quality of construction (hands-on experience with wood construction is a plus).
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes and industry standards.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Tennessee or actively pursuing licensure.
  
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering.
  
• Proven experience with structural analysis software (REVIT experience strongly preferred)
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
