We currently have the following position available at our Knoxville, TN location:

Software Engineer

The responsibilities of this position include:

Design and development of control firmware/software for hybrid PC/embedded platforms
Development of embedded firmware for various motion control and sensor acquisition
Development Windows based UI, communication to embedded platform, and implementation of predetermined algorithms
Creating reporting and data archiving utilizing databases
Working with a collaborative multi-disciplined engineering team in the design, development and test of electro-mechanical and electro-optical products

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical engineering or Computer science
Minimum of five years’ work-related experience in software/firmware development for instrumentation applications.
Experience in C firmware development for embedded systems preferred
Experience in C# (.Net) for Windows preferred
