Job Description

We are seeking a Gas Boiler Service Mechanic to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair steam and hydronic gas fired boilers
Troubleshoot and replace boiler controls and associated safety controls
Complete combustion testing
Complete DAR testing
Operate and maintain main steam boilers located in buildings throughout NYC
Operate, maintain and monitor steam distribution system.
Maintain all heating plant equipment in good working order.
Replace and rewire energy management system devices.
Operate and maintain stand-alone boilers both steam and hot water.
Troubleshoot and repair gas boilers and water heaters.
Manufacturers include: Weil McLain, HB Smith, Lochinvar, Laars, Heat-Timer, Tekmar, PowerFlame, IC, Beckett

Qualifications:

At least 5 years as a boiler service mechanic
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
