OC Boiler Service Technician

Job Description

Immediate Opening: Full-Time Boiler Service Technician in the Orange County Area of California. (Training Provided)

We are interested in a quality, career minded technician to join our team.

Benefits:

  • Annual Pay $53k to $90k, based on experience. This is position is available for training/apprentice
  • Core Work period is Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm + some OT. Position is required to participation with other technicians on rotating On-Call schedule.
  • Service Truck, Insurance and Fuel costs provided after completion of training period (for Company Use Only).
  • Flexible Paid PTO (range 96 hrs. to 176 hrs. each year).
  • 9 Paid Holidays.

Boiler Technician's day to day activity include:
Working with our clients in the hotel and restaurant industries, as well as apartment complexes on Raypack, Laars, Lochinvar, RBI Hot Water Boiler Equipment and Noritz, Takagi, and Rheem Water Heaters.

  • Drive to our customer's site and perform maintenance and emergency repairs on Boilers and Water Heaters.
  • Repair/replace water/gas piping.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnosis emergency repairs for Boilers and Water Heaters.
  • Complete all necessary repairs on customer's job sites.
  • Repair/replace 30 to 200-gallon Water Heaters.
  • Flush/repair/replace 30 to 200-gallon Storage Tanks.
  • Complete leak repairs on copper pipe.
  • Participate with installation of new boilers.
  • Communicate with dispatcher of status of job etc.

Qualifications:

  • Currently have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be 21+ years of age to be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • A strong team-player with excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to accept written and verbal direction from supervisors and dispatchers.
  • Must be physically able to perform all necessary job responsibilities.
  • Valid CA Driver License with a good driving record. Must sustain insurable status with company’s auto insurance carrier while employed.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs (as needed)
  • Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening process, clear Criminal Background Check and pass E-Verify Screening prior to hiring. *
