The Boiler Tech at Manhattan Plumbing and Heatingย  will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler systems. This role involves ensuring the efficiency and safety of all boiler operations within the facility. The objective is to maintain optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair boiler systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Install new boilers and related equipment according to technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Perform water quality tests and adjust chemical treatments to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with boiler systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools and machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with management and team members.
  • Physical fitness and stamina for handling heavy equipment and materials.
