IT Concepts Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Knowledge Management (KM) Project Lead to support our DOD Department of the Air Force contract, specifically the AF/A3 Operations Directorate to include the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations. The AF/A3 KM Project Lead is responsible for maintaining productive and efficient coordination and communication between Contractor staff and Government staff to manage project activities through team collaboration, meetings, and status reporting. Capable of working with AF/A3 organization to understand requirements, set expectations, and manage scope. The AF/A3 KM Project Lead will assist the Government in conducting process improvement on AF/A3 KM activities by applying industry-leading frameworks and best practices and will help to quantify the value of solutions provided to the organization's staff, project stakeholders and users/customer base.

Location: This position will be performed in a hybrid working environment. Candidates will be required to be located in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area for in-person meetings and operational tasks at the Pentagon for up to 4-5 times per month or as necessary by the customer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and execute project tracker with schedule and timeline as needed for projects/tasks
  • Establish realistic expectations and maintain clear customer and team communication
  • Accomplish administrative functions, status reporting, process improvement and attend required meetings to include submission of meeting minutes to the COR
  • Provide advice, explanation, and recommendations on technical solutions to implement AF/A3 Knowledge Management
  • Provide guidance and assist in executing projects and other operational tasks
  • Onboard new team personnel and assist in obtaining the necessary credentials

Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of current experience within the last five (5) years in providing IT Project Management in support of DoD senior staff or other comparable organizations
  • Minimum of three (3) years of current experience within the last five (5) years in the latest Microsoft applications, SharePoint (2013/2016), Microsoft 365, and applicable project management related tools
  • Strong development experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Proficient in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with content migration from file shares to SharePoint or SharePoint to SharePoint, demonstrating a clear understanding of the challenges and methodologies involved
  • Experience in managing a team of Knowledge Managers (junior and senior)

Clearance:
  • Must have Active Top Secret Clearance to be hired. And willing and able to maintain clearance while on contract.
