Job Description

Under the direction of the Safety and Training Manager, the Safety Support Rep will be responsible for providing support to drivers in the field and at designated sites. The Safety Support Rep will monitor and assist with the implementation of company programs, procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Conduct driver, site and customer safety and quality audits
Evaluate driver activities in the field for safety compliance
Provide field compliance reviews and training if needed
Assist with incident and accident investigations and reporting (injury/illness, property damage, etc.)
Assist drivers with beginning/end of shift activities
Assist with the implementation of and maintaining training and safety programs in the field
May assist with the transport of passengers as the need arises

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Possesses a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
