Summary:
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the design process, from concept development to project completion. Collaborating closely with clients, architects, and fellow design team members, you will bring your creative vision to life while ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and development of design schemes for residential and/or commercial projects, incorporating client preferences, project requirements, and design trends.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases of design from schematic design through construction administration.
Produce detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with project budgets, design objectives, and industry standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.
Mentor and provide guidance and direction to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the firm.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in interior design, incorporating innovative solutions into your work.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for design-related inquiries and project updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential projects.
Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
Strong conceptual and spatial planning abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively to clients and project teams.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve design excellence.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods relevant to interior design.
Membership in professional organizations such as ASID is desirable.
Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
