SUMMARY

The role of Senior Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for manufacturing machinery maintenance and PM. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting project completion. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
  • Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling them as necessary.
  • Lubricate, diagnose and operate the equipment.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
  • Troubleshooting maintenance of repair on primarily PLC-controlled machines
  • Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
  • Work independently and with other team members to safely complete repairs.
  • Prepares reports documenting work performed.
  • Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
  • Collaborations with the Production Manager or the Machine Maintenance Manager regarding new products will be required.
  • Documents workflows.
  • Trains operators and technicians on automated or manual machinery setup, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for writing and tracking processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:    
  • Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Ability to use common test tools – multi-meters etc.
  • Works well independently and with others.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Available to work a flexible shift during peak season. (back to school: May-September)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Technical schools and or military schools a plus.
  • 5 Years – Experience in a Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 5 Years – Experience in Position
  • 1 - 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects.
  • Bilingual (not a required)
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:
Mon-Thur - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM 
Fri - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
