Payroll Administrator/Accountant

Mississippi Auto Direct is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator/Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll for mid-size companies, including withholding all applicable state and federal taxes as well as experience with a general ledger and account reconciliation.

The Mississippi Auto Direct Payroll Administrator/Accountant will be responsible for managing multiple types of payroll (weekly, semi monthly, monthly, bonuses, and commissions) for approximately 115 employees across multiple dealerships; this includes making payroll deposits, submitting direct deposits, and withholding all applicable state and federal taxes in a timely manner, and managing any potential wage garnishments, benefits withholding, and contributions to 401ks for all applicable employees. The Payroll Administrator/Accountant will also manage all employee master files. For that reason the ideal candidate would need to be a person of high character and be capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Work week is Monday - Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
