Business Analyst (Functional)

Requirements:
• Provides Analysis functions and provides business area knowledge and technical expertise to team members engaged in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business information systems.
• Provides business area and technical expertise to management and customers to facilitate planning, set direction, define business initiatives and develop solutions to customer business information systems needs and requirements.
• Assists the customer in the definition of business requirements, and their translation to information systems functions/features; establishes project objectives and identifies/quantifies benefits and develops business requirement documentation and coordinates system installation, evaluates existing systems and procedures, and recommends changes to management.
• Meets regularly with customers to ensure timely and effective response to requests for service and high levels of customer.
• Manage and create Change Requests (using ServiceNow), initiate Incident Management tickets.
• Provide support for software releases and deployments.
• Provide production level technical and business support when required due to various issues.
Required Experience Level:
• 1-3 Years of Experience
• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Previous experience and exposure to Web Services using JSON REST, testing using JUnit
Educational Requirements:
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. An additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in lieu of a degree.
Candidates must pass a USPS security clearance and have lived in US for the past 5 years with a max of 6 months out of the country.
