Sportsman Boats is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will work closely with technical sales and warranty team members to service and support dealers and customer needs. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard while maintaining productivity and customer satisfaction.

What you will do:
- Communicate directly with dealers and owners by phone, email, etc. to answer questions, order parts, and coordinate the process of boat warranties, maintenance, and repairs in a timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Determine warranty status and best method of repair; coordinates bringing boats in if necessary
- Coordinate returned and exchanged parts by creating RMA's and tracks until process is complete
- Review and determines feasibility of claims' estimates
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing warranty boats; create job orders; track repairs until boats are moved out; follow up with techs, owners and dealers throughout the process
- Manage boat registrations
- Gather data to create reports regarding open warranty claims, SRO status, quarterly claims, part orders, open orders, and shares with team members
- Work with dealers to maintain high CSI scores; reviews customer surveys, and assists marketing in creating review promos
- Update engineering and production on recurring issues, component problems, and common infield and QC problems
- Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
To be considered you must have:
- 2 years customer service experience, preferably in the marine/boating industry
- Must have a calm nature and patience when dealing with owners and dealers
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Excellent organization skills; multi-tasking and detail oriented;
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or management or applicable experience in related field
- Thorough understanding of boat building processes
