Position Summary
Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire an Inventory Specialist to work with our internal marketing and QC teams. Our ideal candidate will communicate regularly with each department to address their inventory and reorder needs, assist with website product launches, and help ensure that product is available for sale. This is a non-supervisory position that reports to the Fulfillment Manager.

Position Summary
Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire an Inventory Specialist to work with our internal marketing and QC teams. Our ideal candidate will communicate regularly with each department to address their inventory and reorder needs, assist with website product launches, and help ensure that product is available for sale. This is a non-supervisory position that reports to the Fulfillment Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accurate and timely inventory tracking.
- Develop and implement SOPs for managing inventory, including appropriate levels for buffer inventory
- Work with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and identify potential stock issues.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify potential sellouts or overstock situations.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts.
- Manage sample routing for marketing, trade shows, and photography
- Assist marketing department with website product setup and launches
- Send reports to stakeholders to update on inventory levels and potential issues
- Communicates with production planner, sales team, administration and fulfillment manager regarding inventory levels and reorders.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and perform reconciliation required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assists supervisor in performing quarterly inventory reconciliation
- Assists Quality Control department.
- Suggest workflow and process improvements.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Fulfillment Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills.
- Should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgment calls.
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables at a given time.
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to learn new software and processes quickly
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with project management software (Basecamp or similar)
- Background in production, quality control, or inventory control.
- Interested in art, photography, and/or precious metals industry.
