A nationally recognized and growing insurance defense firm is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative team in Garden City, NY. They are known for their exceptional work environment, commitment to professional development, and focus on client success. This is a hybrid role with a 37.5 workweek, offering 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after a comprehensive training period.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys in all phases of complex litigation matters. You will leverage your strong legal acumen and experience to assist with tasks including:

Drafting and responding to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, etc.)
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda of law
Organizing, summarizing, and analyzing case documents and exhibits
Preparing witness materials for depositions and trial
Assisting with trial preparation and presentation

You Have the Skills We Need

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in insurance defense
Proven ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate legal documents
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with a collaborative work style
