Job Description

New recruiting and staffing firm hiring electricians for various Prevailing Wage projects coming up in the second half of 2024. We need to hire around 10-30 electricians for our client. These projects will last up to 5 months.

Pay scale is around $52-$61.58 an hour depending on the county.

Since we are paying such a high scale we expect a resume and contact info with VALID CERTIFICATION!

Details: A Commercial Electrician installs all electrical portions of commercial installations in a safe, high quality and efficient installation manner. You must have experience Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials, pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit, terminating electrical panels, setting fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices. You will be installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets or other components and systems. Communicate to the General Foreman, Site Superintendent or Construction Manager potential problems encountered during construction that would affect the schedule or require added materials to be procured.

Requirements:

Plus 4 years of commercial electrical experience

Required certifications/licenses: Journeyman certification or Trainee Card.

Physically able to perform all tasks related to installation

Knowledge of electrical and general construction, and NEC codes

Physically able to perform all tasks related to installation

Maintain a high attention to detail and quality

Work at heights and use personal protective equipment

Heavy physical effort (usually lifting/moving up to 100 pounds)

Walking

Prolonged standing

Climbing of stairs, ladders and/or scaffolds Carrying loads up and down stairs

Reaching and/or grasping

Stooping, kneeling, bending, crawling and crouching

Carrying, pushing and/or pulling

Must work outdoors in all weather conditions

Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions

Exposure to chemicals and solvents

Good vision and hearing

Exposure to mechanical, electrical and/or other hazards
