Job Description

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year

Benefit Eligible: Yes, includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision) along with paid time off and a 401k with company match

Location: Remote within the US, open to candidates residing in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, LA, NC, NJ, NV, OH, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY

Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-time

Our goal is to support our customers with better alternatives to the health-damaging junk foods and synthetic supplements lining the grocery store shelves.

 

Wild Pastures is on a mission to transform the meat industry. We deliver 100% grass fed, pasture-raised, environmentally-regenerative beef, chicken and pork and sustainably caught, wild seafood directly to our customers’ doors. We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from any and all chemicals.

 

The Opportunity

Paleovalley is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Creative Strategist to lead our video ad creation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating compelling video ads for e-commerce brands and leading a team of video editors to execute their vision. This role requires the ability to generate new concepts, provide clear direction to editors, recruit and manage content creators, and work closely with copywriters to storyboard videos.


Essential Functions

  1. Develop creative concepts, hooks, and ideas for paid advertisements on Meta, YouTube, Google, and other relevant platforms.
  2. Collaborate with media buyers to align ad creative with overall brand messaging and marketing objectives.
  3. Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative and impactful ad concepts.
  4. Oversee the production process, from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ad assets.
  5. Manage a team of designers and other creative professionals to execute ad campaigns effectively.
  6. Provide clear direction and guidance to a team of video editors to execute on creative vision and produce high-quality ad assets.
  7. Collaborate with copywriters to storyboard videos and ensure cohesive storytelling across all ad creatives.
  8. Conduct regular performance analysis and optimization of ad creative to maximize ROI and drive results.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital advertising.
  10. Recruit and work UGC creators, actors, freelancers, etc., to get all assets needed to produce top ad creative.
  11. Act as the primary visionary in assembling all assets to create engaging video ads for platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok platforms.
  12. Produce over 100 new creatives to be tested by our paid media team, continuously iterating and optimizing based on performance metrics.
 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for supervising a small team of designers and creative professionals.

 

Competencies

  1. Strong creative thinking and conceptualization skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual and written content.
  2. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Proficiency in using ad creation tools and platforms, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager.
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform creative decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  5. Data Analysis for Facebook, Google or TikTok Ads.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  7. Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  8. Strong creative vision and ability to generate new concepts for video ads that resonate with target audiences.
  9. Proficiency in video editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut or similar.
 

Required Education and Experience

  1. 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on creating ads for Meta, YouTube, and Google.
  2. Proven track record of developing successful ad campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and revenue.
  3. Proven track record of leading and managing a team of video editors to produce high-quality ad assets, and experience working with copywriters to storyboard videos and ensure cohesive storytelling.
  4. UGC content creation on TikTok or other social media platforms required.
  5. Direct Response Marketing experience required.
  6. A STRONG passion for advertising is required.
 

Preferred Education & Experience

  1. 3+ years of experience creating UGC content for TikTok and other social media platforms.
  2. 3+ years of experience with direct response marketing.
  3. Passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle brands is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary.  

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during regular business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Travel

This position does not require travel.
