Summary:
The Director of E-Commerce is responsible for managing all aspects of our B2B E-commerce Day to day operations and the efficiency of our digital platforms. The Director of E-Commerce will partner with various teams across the organization including Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure the execution of our E-Commerce adoption growth strategy. The right candidate is a change agent with an ability to drive customer success - from acquisition to retention. As the leader, you are expected to set the tone and standards for how the group executes and manages the strategic direction and day to day operation of the constantly evolving and maturing B2B e-commerce operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the development and implementation of eCommerce adoption strategies, programs and plans for existing and potential new business.
· Work with the development team on the roadmap for digital selling tools based on customer requirements.
· Oversee the accuracy and consistency of our product information along with a focus on usability.
· Partner with the business to identify key customer-focused applications to drive technology adoption.
· Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, and technology offerings, and communicate to management as necessary.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and business meetings effectively.
· Excellent communication skills to interact with all project stakeholders including all levels of users and senior management.
· Experience in project management and/or agile methodologies
· Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks.
· Effective planning, prioritizing, goal-setting skills.
· Strong personal interest in digital technology and awareness of industry standards or best-known methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in operations management, business, information systems or equivalent work experience.
· 2+ years of experience in a B2B e-commerce operations leadership role with cross functional experience, including operations, marketing, customers service and e-commerce management.
· Willingness to learn, listen and teach.
· Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
