Admissions Representative

Delta College is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative for our Covington campus. The perfect candidate must be goal-oriented, highly motivated, and have excellent customer service skills. The Admissions Representative assists and guides prospective students searching for career development. Other responsibilities of the position include:
Recruiting students into career training programs.
Conduct virtual and face-to-face interviews to assess prospective students' educational needs, vocational ambitions, aptitudes, and abilities and help match prospects to career training.
Scheduling appointments with incoming prospects for campus visits and providing information about the different career programs offered.
Participating in school Career Day Events and College Nights.
Helping the prospective student navigate the admissions requirements and the documentation needed to meet the demands of various regulatory entities.
Follow-up contacts via phone calls, emails, texts, etc.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be comfortable and confident with making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
Must be computer-literate to fully utilize and record all activity in the CRM system.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.Experience in recruiting, career counseling, sales, or customer service is strongly preferred but not required.This position involves heavy phone work and follow-up, but no cold calling. All necessary training will be provided.
