Design Studio Consultant

What you’ll be doing

Our Design Studio Consultant assists home buyers in selecting interior and exterior finishes for their home.

You will be responsible for…

  • Establish a relationship with home buyers to help define and meet their needs.
  • Recommend selection of interior and exterior finishes.
  • Complete selection appointments for both sold and spec homes within defined budget and time frame.
  • Understand future trends in home design and develops design based on these trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends and finishes.
  • Provide appropriate responses while communicating via email and/or phone calls with home buyers, builders, and the internal company.
  • Work with Design Studio Manager and Construction team on special requests for pricing and custom options.
  • Prepare selections, sketches, and designs for spec homes.
  • Ensure timely completion of selections with homebuyer.

What experience you’ll bring to us

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Vocational, technical or business school training preferred
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience required
  • 1 or more years of experience in creative background or design preferred

What type of work environment you will be working in

This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax. This position must work well in a team oriented, fast paced setting and can handle interruptions while maintaining productivity and accuracy. If traveling, employee may be exposed to weather conditions.

Employee may be required to travel to other buildings or to attend meetings and training sessions.
