Job Description

IMAGINE ONE TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, LTD., is currently seeking a Metrics Analyst with a strong background working on Navy maintenance metrics and analytics; applying expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers; applying knowledge to understand how our users interact with core business products; analyzing data and translate into recommendations; and, working with various government personnel in the Metrics Directorate of NAVSEA, SEA 21. Hybrid work schedule may be considered.

The Metrics Analyst will work alongside government personnel providing primarily consulting, facilitating, and performing metric development, dashboard framework development, data management schemas, analysis, and recommending areas for productivity improvement. The Metrics Analyst will routinely produce statistical analysis products and strategic plans for data management and functional improvement.

Requirements:

Experience with analyzing and extracting key data and information to meet NAVSEA's information system needs and requirements.
Experience in data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality and integrity of data.
Ability to identify and collect data using tools or techniques.
Ability to develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key insights.
Ability to conduct data analysis and reporting, including dashboard development, data cleansing, metrics analysis, and research.
Experience with Python.
Experience with Tableau, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server.
Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Additional desired experience and skills:

Five+ years NAVSEA or Navy experience REQUIRED
Experience with Depot-level Overhaul, Maintenance, and Modernization activities.
Advanced competency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) in a DOD setting, Navy preferred.

Educational/Other Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar or equivalent experience
Five (5) years’ experience in metrics, data analytics, business/financial analytics field is required.
Experience with US Navy Ship Maintenance and Modernization

Security Clearance:

US citizenship required
An Active DoD Issued Secret Clearance (or interim Secret or higher) at time of application.

C4ISR support include technical and engineering support such as: analysis of technical initiatives and new concepts for further exploration; research and preparation of new technologies; technical analysis support and reports on C4ISR architecture tools used to assess and verify demonstrations, tests and exercises; system software analyses, design, installation, testing and independent evaluation and assessments, and software upgrades.

For the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) test and evaluation (T&E) Support Services delivery order, Imagine One supports several SSC-LANT Program Managers with specialized requirements engineering, analysis, and tracking services. Imagine One worked with the customer to strategically plan how proven USMC T&E processes could be automated using the IBM Rational suite of tools to meet or exceed the overall T&E program vision and mission, and customer expectations.

Major contract vehicles supporting DoD customers include SSC-LANT 8(a) MAC, SeaPort-e, and GSA MOBIS, and 8(a) GSA STARS II.
