Shifts Available: First Shift -6 AM to 6 PM

Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at the long-term care facility in Tucson, AZ. The CNAs will be responsible for providing direct care and assistance to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Provide assistance with meals, feeding residents who require help, and monitoring dietary intake.

• Perform routine vital sign measurements, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.

• Assist with transferring and positioning residents using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversations.

• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report any concerns to the licensed nursing staff.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment in residents' rooms and common areas, including making beds and tidying up.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Arizona.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred but not required.

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from licensed nursing staff.

• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull residents and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.
