Job Description

Job Title: Construction Assistant Electrical Estimator

ENR Rate National Top 50 Electrical Contractor

As a Construction Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing the scope of electrical projects, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with our Estimating Team to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Project size (Electrical Portion): $1-$10 million. Your expertise in electrical systems, construction practices, and market trends will contribute to the successful completion of projects within budgetary constraints. Salary Range DOE: $125,000 per year, plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator - CPE).
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices.

A Construction Electrical Estimator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that electrical projects are financially viable and successfully executed. The ability to accurately assess costs and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders contributes to the overall success of construction projects.
