Job Description

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience With Trial Preparation And Knowledge Of Complex Litigation

We are currently seeking a skilled, bilingual (Spanish/English)Civil Litigation paralegal. •

Consumer rights,

• Insurance claims for property damage,

• Asset forfeiture

• Breach of contract

• Nonpayment of debt,

• Car crash defense litigation,

• Restraining order,

• Construction lawsuits, etc. * Continual review and management of case files.

• Working knowledge and experience of e-Filing in both State and Federal Court systems.

• Prepare initial discovery, i.e., interrogatories, request for production, request for admissions.

• Journal deadlines for responses and monitor for timeliness.

• Prepare draft responses to discovery, deposition summaries, legal documents such as pleadings, chronologies deposition and/or trial binders for use by Attorneys.

• Investigate facts as requested by attorney.

• Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Meeting deadlines while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment is an absolute necessity. Candidates must have a high level of efficiency and accuracy in completing their daily objectives.

Candidate should be computer literate with modern software applications. Professionalism and a strong work ethic are paramount.

Salary is competitive and will be determined based on experience and education.
