Housekeeping Supervisor

Temple Israel is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to coordinate daily staff activities. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: actively participating in, and prioritizing the team efforts for, daily cleaning, light maintenance, event set up and break down, and occasional food service support.

Prior experience in a commercial building environment in at least one of the following areas is required: maintenance, custodial/janitorial, foodservice, or event venue operations. Successful candidates must have excellent communication, organization, and follow through skills. Prior team lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with desktop software and smartphone applications. Previous experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Documents, and Sheets) is extremely helpful. Experience with Upkeep or other work order software is highly desired.

Candidates must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 (twenty-five) pounds to a minimum height of 4 (four) feet and be able to push, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 (four) feet.
