We are seeking individuals for employment as a Specialized Door Hardware Installer to become an integral part of our team! A successful applicant will use specialized equipment to install door hardware in aluminum doors and associated aluminum framing systems for installation on commercial glazing projects throughout the state of Kentucky. Specialized knowledge of door hardware applications is a plus, but not required as training will be also be provided for this position with unlimited potential for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble and handle finished aluminum products, specifically aluminum doors
- Perform responsibilities as an integral part of fabrication team and individually as may be required
- Use of a variety of specialized equipment and components as well as hand tools
- Follow blueprints / fabrication drawings to meet product specifications and quality requirements
- Calculate material measurements to comply with fabrication drawings
- Regular attendance and timeliness
- Compliance with OSHA requirements and internal safety protocol
Qualifications:
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
- Willingness to take direction and training on fabrication / assembly methods
- Familiarity with operation of power tools and related safety procedures
- Specialized door hardware knowledge a plus, but training will also be provided
- Ability to handle physical workload up to 100 lbs.
