Job description

Are you mechanically inclined, a natural problem-solver, and someone who enjoys working with your hands?
Assured Security is seeking a Door & Frame Service Technician who thrives on solving challenges, building strong customer relationships, and taking ownership of their work. You don’t need to know every technical detail on day one — we’ll train you — but you must bring initiative, professionalism, and the drive to learn.

This role focuses on door and frame installation projects. You’ll tackle a variety of tasks, from single-door installs to assisting with larger projects, keeping each day fresh and rewarding.

Some of the job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Tear out and install Commercial Doors, Frames and Hardware
  • Ensure proper alignment, operation, and finish of all installations
  • Troubleshoot doors, door hardware, locks, etc.
  • Assist in locksmith service, which may include rekeying locks
  • Installing and servicing electro/mechanical door hardware
  • Managing daily schedule to best accommodate customers' requests
  • Using initiative and accountability to service accounts by providing them with high quality security solutions

Requirements for Door/Hardware Installation Technician (Will Train):

  • More than 5 years of previous work experience
  • Enjoys hands on work and has a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good problem solving and logic skills
  • Polished communication and customer service skills
  • Customer first attitude
  • Comfortable working autonomously and/or as part of a team
  • Ability to organize/plan daily time
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to lift 75-100 lbs continuously
  • Ability to pass background check, drug test and DMV record check
  • HS Diploma

Preferred for Door/Hardware Installation Technician (Will Train):

  • Construction experience
  • Carpentry experience
  • Work experience requiring mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of basic electronics
  • Sales experience
