Job description

JOB TITLE: Poly Fusion Technician


PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Poly Fusion Tech position supports the branch in all yard and poly fusion maintenance, upkeep, installation, and repair needs. This position ensures that all equipment is ready for rent in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within our service department and beyond.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Travels to jobsites for minor maintenance, drop-offs, and set-ups of all rental equipment
  • Loading, laying, and picking up 3โ€ and/or 4โ€ poly to and from job sites
  • Assists mechanics in the field with required maintenance of rental and poly fusion equipment
  • Setting up jobs with poly, pumps, and hoses on location
  • Reports to customer jobsites for installation and maintenance of berms (spillage containment)
  • Loads and unload trucks, working with management to maintain an accurate inventory
  • Maintains professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and co-workers following the established company policies and procedures
  • Delivers equipment and accessories on a non-DOT level
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Preferably, have a high school degree or equivalent
  • Preferably, poly fusion experience
  • Must have a valid state driverโ€™s license with a moderately clean driving record
  • Must have ability to maintain safe, organized and clean working environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
  • Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
