In 1982, Dealers decided to expand its product offering by distributing and installing commercial doors, frames and hardware. In 2016, Dealers Wholesale was acquired by a Private Equity Firm called The Firefly Group. Under their leadership, Dealers Wholesale has implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and made very strategic changes to our Core Values, Mission, and short/long-term growth goals.

Jimmy Rayford, the CEO of Dealers Wholesale, took the helm in January 2020, and was quickly able to inspire trust and loyalty from the organization. Jimmy's transparent leadership style and emphasis on a people-first culture has had tremendous positive impact on the organization in a very short period of time. He continues to elevate the Talent and the Employee Experience, and is working to fulfill our Vision of being a game-changing force in the Construction industry.

In early 2022, Dealers Wholesale acquired ClearPath Connections - a Milwaukee-based access control and security organization.
